They had a black SLR just like that one at my local MB dealer, definitely looks hot in person. Oh yea and it had a $575K price tag, gawddamn greedy ass dealer.

ok this has been freaking me out... err freaked me out... I thought the hood was slightly open in the last pic... but it's not.. but doesn't it look like it is?? I guess the gap is that big?

yes I agree. For some reason most Benz cars look better in black. As for the price tag of 450 or even at some dealers almost 600 grand . I'd say "forget you" and put in a order either for a SL65 AMG or new M5 with the V-10 with 500 hp

I was in MB of tampa when my grandpa went to look at the E55 AMG. They had the SLR for a sticker of $800,000. That seemed really high to me. Do they really go for that much???

McClaren and MB are splitting up after this car, I think... so the price will rise...you know how they do it...
