You can live with one auto and one MT in the family. Whenever you go out together, someplace secluded for example, just make sure you take the Murano. If you are afraid of that 1 in a million chance that she need to drive the G, just decrease the chances by using her car in those "likely" scenarios. If you are driving cross country, take the Murano. If you are driving locally take the G. She has the car she loves so stick to the car you love (I know you like the TSX, but we all know you love the G!).

Who are you?

If you MUST replace the car, wouldn’t a TL be more of a horizontal move then the TSX?
I really don’t see going to a 4-Popper after driving 6-Cylinder cars for the last couple of years.
Especially if this is going to be your daily driver.

I hate driving my wife’s RAV4 when there’s highway roads involved.
That thing can’t get out of its own way.
I know…bad comparison because it’s only got 150HP, but you get the idea.

I still say the TL or even a lease on an RL would be the way to go.

The draw to the TSX is for a few reasons:

Cheaper... I can get one for essentially nothing (financially speaking). Under no circumstances will I either take out a loan or spend any kind of real money to get into a new car.

Size... TL is a nice car. TSX is a bit smaller and more to my liking.

I don't want 270 crank horsepower to the front wheels.

Other options cost more money... See my first response.

TSX handles better than the TL.

TSX looks better than the TL. (my opinion)

A 4-banger isn't necessarily the worst thing in the world. Better gas mileage.

or why not just get an auto G35C? There has to be an auto out there willing to trade with you. I know you thought about it before, what happend to that idea?

Can't really find one that would basically be an even swap.

This is a money thing for me too... I've spent a shitpot on cars in the last couple years and I don't feel like dishing out a dime. Unfortunately, squeezing into an auto would cost me some $$$.

Sure... I'd consider it. It would need to be about the same mileage, etc. No mods.

That may be a problem considering mine doesn't... Not sure, even if he's interested in a swap, that he'd want to lose that.
