Site is down for now, but how would someone who bought a farm also have ownership of any vehicles left behind? He wouldn't have the title/paperwork for those vehicles so he would play hell trying to register them.
Am I missing something from the story?
Of course, it is in a foreign land.

Or, as Whiskers said, the previous owner was a drug lord. Damn Portigi!

Cool! Has anyone ever read, "The Cobra in the Barn" by Tom Cotter? Its a great book describing how various people lucked into finding cars in the most obscure and forgotten places. My 67' Shelby was found in an old garage that had been locked for several years.
The last chapter of Mr. Cotter's book describes an undisclosed location in Europe where several Bugatti's, Cords, Tatras, Lancias, Alfas, and others are languishing. Most pre-war and invaluable. Imaging stumbling coming across something like that?
I wonder if the new owner of this farm will face any legality issues in regards to the cars?

I haven't read the entire book but I have read some pretty lengthy excerpts from it. Very interesting read.

there was a semi new buggy in there( the yellow one) along with a miata that looks pretty new. I dont think someone would just leave all those cars there for whomever to crack open like hidden gem. but who knows It wouldnt be the first time i was wrong lol
