Yeh. Some type of plastic composite. Fairly strong though.

It was intermittent for a while, but the last 2 weeks it was whenever it was cold. And since it is FUCKING cold outside now it needed to be changed.

I took it out for a drive earlier today. Runs really smooth, quick. Valve cover gasket looks clean after the drive. I'll keep an eye on it for the next couple weeks.

Man, the drive in this morning was nice. Car was smooth as silk. I'm sure all this will not really reduce the oil consumption issues, but the car drives like a dream.
