some advice on new car purchase wanted
Hey all,
It's time to purchase a 2nd car, and I've been throwing around a lot of options in my head. I currently own a 02 bmw 325ci and i still am enjoying it. Its fun for driving to work and back and whatnot, but I need space. Space for my camping trips, my surfboards, my mountain bikes, my trips to home depot.... you get the point.
Keeping in mind that I am keeping my 325ci and purchasing an additional car, I would like to ask you guys for some recommendations. Currently, I am favoring buying a truck. Either an 05 Dodge Ram 1600 quad or the new Honda Ridgeline, but am open to other options like SUVs. The requirements are as follows:
Need a lot of space
Willing to spend at most $32k
Low maintennence (and low cost to maintain. Im getting tired of bmw service charges)
durable interior
I plan to overhaul the jukebox with a mac mini + touch screen LCD installation, so that isnt a concern. Im favoring the Ram just cause of the looks, but I know that's not a good approach to this.
Would love to hear from people who've been in a similar situation.
Thanks all,
neojin

well i'm kinda ln the same boat, i'm currently looking at the tacoma and frontier, but i think the smart money would be to get a truck which is a year or two old, specially if it's not going to get much regular use (ie weekend car)

advice:
1) post in proper forum (car talk)
2) I say go for the Ridgeline. I really really really enjoyed this truck when I went to see it at the dealer. And it drives very nice.
3) Other my other truck choice is a Titan...but you probably only need Frontier.
