Sold the TL for....BMW.
Ya'll its been a while since I've posted anything. This is what I've been busy working on. This is not the end, I will have more things in the future. Performance stuff will be next. I sold my TL @ the beginning of the year and purchased a 335i. These are the updated pics and mods.
I want to thank Jav@Vossen for putting up with me changing my mind consistantly for like a week on deciding on which wheels I wanted to purchase. And setting up a great photoshoot with Tek. And Rayne@Vredestein tires.
Current Mods:
Exterior:
OEM Aero Lip
CUSTOM ONE OFF M3 rear bumper (you can not purchase an M3 bumper for the regular 335i this bumper is the first NON WIDE BODY rear bumper)
ModBargains CSL Trunk
ACS Style roof spoiler
Performance:
MagnaFlow mufflers w/quad exhaust
Wheels/Suspension:
Vossen CV3 (matte silver) 20x9(+35 w/+5mm spacers) / 20x10.5 (+42 w/+12mm spacers)
225/30/20 and 255/30/20 Vredestein Tires
H&R Race springs
ENJOY!!!!

The wheels aren't really my style, but everything else looks fantastic! Do you plan on installing a BBK? With wheels like that I think it would look great. Anyways, Bimmerzine FTW!

I like the wheels, a member on the 4G section recently got those and i hated them but they're much more fitting on your car. Overall your car looks great but its not my style to make my car look like something its not.
Why'd you choose vredesteins; I'm getting those for my summer set of rubber as well!

Congrats on the car it looks great. I love how concave those wheels but the openness always bothered me some. They look good on the car though just need some huge brakes now.
Something about the bumper looks off. Wheels too... maybe b/c it's all wheel and so little tire. Love the color though... and either way, huge upgrade from a TL. Welcome to Bimmerzine
Thanks for all the comments
BBK.....I'm not sure yet...thats almost another $4k for both front and rear... The car stops well, as I had to use the brakes hard this morning to avoid getting hit. So...IDK
Yes the tires are stretched. But its not stretched compared to others. The tires are actually only one size smaller then what suppose to be on there.
check your PM

Looks good except for the wheels/tires. Tires are two sizes too small and the wheels are visually too big. The reason your 19's looked small was because of the lip. 20's with a lip or 19's with a flush face would be it. The rest looks great, and I love the color
.
exactly. These Vossen's look big because the spokes extend to the edge of the rim, making them appear "bigger." Wheels with lip, or even a step lip for that matter will always look smaller then the lip-less counterpart.
Fnally someone with an Acura-BMW trade that make sense (to me).
A big sedan for a smaller coupe....make perfectly sense, different type of car, different feeling, a real change....
Congratulation!!!

Thanks for the comments. The wheels are actually basically SHOW ONLY. I need something that makes the car stand out and the wheels actually does it. Everyday drive I'm on the 19s. I'm not a fan of the stretch tires either but I was scared the bigger size would not fit. But after getting this tire sizing, I know the bigger size (245/30 & 275/30) will fit
yes they are. I was actually thinking about getting the Forgstar you have in your avatar, but just decided this route. No rivets/five spoke = easy to clean

As an ex-BMW owner, keep an eye on your "check engine light" and O2 sensors. Be sure to frequent the Bimmer boards (Roadfly, Bimmerfest, Bimmerboards, etc.) for critical maintenance issues, updates, work-arounds, fixes, OEM/Aftermarket parts and recommended local Independent mechanics who won't charge you crazy labor rates like the stealers. What was common was that, like clockwork, things will start to fall apart or break when the warranty is about to expire. Yes, it's VERY different from owning an Acura, you'll need to keep your wallet wide open for repairs and you'll be up all night wondering what you'll need to fix next. In this economy, that's not an easy thing to do. Besides that, when the car is running fine, BMWs are some of the MOST FUN cars to drive, hands down. Congrats!
