Sold my s80!

got 11k for it

one down, one to go. haven't really advertised the z except for here and on my350z but the thing's mint with really low miles and the price im asking is low so it should go fast.

still have no idea what im going to replace these with...gotta test drive the STI. i really hope i like that car.

How can you not like the STi, pure raw power. Throttle THROUGH understeer to correct itself? balls out AWD. Car is hot!

How old was the s80??? that resale sounds horrible. Not trying to shit on your car, just curious.
Congrats on selling and get your ass behind the wheel of STi, its pure love.

Congrats on selling and get your ass behind the wheel of STi, its pure love.

it was a 99 and yes, that resale IS horrible. Volvos depreciate like mad. The car was 40k new but it had 100k miles on it. Unfortunately my local Subie dealer doesn't have any STI's for me to test drive so i'm SOL for now

Good to hear you were able to sell her off. Was 11k what you were shooting for at the start?

Also i don't see how the hell that Z is gonna be a problem to move.

the engine mods are gone. im going to try to sell the car as-is with the appearance mods/rims on it. i would rather give the rims away with the car than sell it to some of the cheap freaking bastards on my350z. i have an inbox over there full of "how bout an even trade for my stock rims?" and othe rcheapazz lowball type shit... i'd rather sink 2600 bucks in the toilet than give in to that. fuckers.

^ I hear you man, i was getting LOW ass offers from my track wheels..one guy offered my 1k, and was like "well, I have two offers for track wheels for 1k, but I'd rather buy them from you, blha, blah...." I was basically like fuck you and talk to your other two guys. I can probably get your aftermarket wheels traded with what you were asking for if you were into shipping..... but it's up to you

Why do you want to get rid of the z (just curious).

Are you not happy with it or is it just time for something different?

Should not be hard to sale. Around here they do not stay for sale very long.

I drove an Sti and a Z; I love the noise it makes and how quickly it revs. Torque RULES!! The STi on the other hand is a beast. Unbelievably quick. I loved everything about that car, and the practicality is the biggest selling point. I would sooo get it if I were you.

Man, I just went to Autotrader and there are 500 350Z's for sale nationwide. I'll bet there is more, I think it only lists up to 500 cars. Might be kind of tough to sell, you better get on it before summer is over, seems like there are lots of used ones to pick from.

you are aware that auto trader has over 2 million car ads at any one time right? do a search for acura cl 3.2. (same results, over 500), acura rsx, same thing, 2002+ e46 m3's same thing....

even the nsx has over 200 ads. i dont think it'll be too hard to sell, but i will do it before sept 15.
