Soda in the Shifter question
Soda in the Shifter question
A while back I managed to spill some Mountain Dew in my shifter (automatic). When ever it's cold out the shifter is very sticky. I realize that my options are limited for cleaning it up. I could take it apart and clean the components but I really don't have enough faith in my ability to not mess something up. I could take it to the dealer but that's just insane.
So does anyone know of a good cleaner/solvent I could spray into the shifter that would clean up the soda without scrubbing? I'm worried that anything I might try would damage whatever electronics lie down there as well.
Thanks in advance for any help you might provide.
