So I....Uhh....

Nothing to report yet, but I am going to be taking a 120 mile round-trip in a bit, so I'll report back to you soon...I went to my friend today to do it, he has a shop, I wanted to do a high speed balance and put Nitrogen air in the tires. Didn't cost me anything, so it didn't boter me much. With that said....

I let my brother borrow my car last night, it appears some fockers may have tried to steal my wheels, because 2 of the 4 lugs were gone from one of the wheels, and one of the studs were cracked. I do have wheel locks and tuner lugs on all the wheels, one lug and one lock is gone. I doubt that it was coincidence and 2 of the 4 lugs just disappeared like that either..

Are you expecting some sort of improvement from the nitrogen? Its not going to change the way the vehicle handles or rides, that's not its purpose.

With nitrogen tire inflation, improvements can be noted in a vehicle's handling, fuel efficiency and tire life through better tire pressure retention, improved fuel economy and cooler running tire temperatures. helium does OK in em too - makes the car lighter so better gas mileage, and less friction. maybe you could try that next and, umm, you know, report teh "findings" back to us.. thx.

That was nitrous oxide, not nitrogen gas.

Regardless, Nitrogen gas does not explode either. Its a odorless and colorless gas that doesnt burn or support combustion.

But compressed nitrous oxide does.
