Meatwad, the fact that you just private messaged me right now asking why I am obsessed with you proves how delusional you are. Don't flatter yourself. You are nothing but a nuisance on A'zine and provide nothing of worth. It's astounding how you have dodged the Banbot this long, but don't worry, it will catch up to you sooner or later. However, if you don't want to wait that long, you can permanently leave at will and trust me nobody will miss you.
Sorry Ken for shitting on your thread, but Meatwad needs to learn how to be a constructive, postitive member of A'zine.

Well there has been a snag...
It turns out the white CR-Z we wanted has had a Mugen body kit added to it. So we're passing on that. Good thing I asked my dealer to call the other...
We ordered a blue EX 6MT that should be here by Thanksgiving. So I apologize for the delay. Pics when the car shows up

Yeah my wife said she'd pay $2,000 maybe for it. Definitely not six. Especially when a blue one was available to be shipped from the factory. We loved the white but the blue looked especially amazing to her (and me)

Yeah the price is crazy. I wonder if you could get just the kit cause I have my own wheels for it and if you could get it just kit I would even pay $3k for it but don't want the wheels. The wheels in the picture from the JDM one look a lot better than the mesh ones it comes with here.
White with my Takata Green TE37 would be so

Another reason we wouldn't want it, we have steep hills and dips in the road (for rain) in our neighborhood. I could hear the scraping noises in my head as soon as I heard about the Mugen kit.

I found used ones as low as 17k. Wonder how cheap of a car payment I could get on that

17K would be about $325 a month or so....
What a great deal for about the only cool hybrid out there. I love that car...
PS...my aunt has one in Switzerland and there, they DO have a rear seat (small, but still). I wonder about being able to buy the seats overseas and put them in.
Nice pick up!

Meh $325 is to much. Saw when I googled at one point people were getting lease offers for as low as $137. That would be awesome.

You CAN swap in the back seats, apparently the US mandates rear head restraints of a certain size which wouldn't fit. So it's turned into a shelf/cargo compartment for the US market.

Well our TSX wagon has nav, so it's not a big deal. This is the fun/impractical car, for buzzing around the hills on weekends and for my wife to commute literally 2 minutes away each weekday.

Wow I first read that at CR-V and I thought...well that's not a lot fun to drive...then I re-read and saw it was CR-Z...
That was a potential car for me except I needed a full backseat to drive parents around...would've liked the sporty and small size car...sigh. In for pics...there's a blue CR-Z I pass by everyday when I walk to the train station...I always oogle it...

Gotcha...was wondering why the US didn't make the option. If I ever got one, I'd add the seat...and a 12" sub...would sound great. Took some pics one at the local stance nation meet...wow. It was gorgeous.
My aunt let me drive it...it was a lot of fun to drive...6 speed also...but mainly fun to drive when in red or sport mode which negated the fact that it's a hybrid. Pretty sure I managed sub 20 mpg numbers when I was at the helm, lol.

Also, if you've noticed, 3 out my previous 4 posts were pertaining to the car, while all of your 3 are about me.

The CR-Zs have grown on me very well. I think it looks/drives fun!
When it first came out, I thought it looked like catfish, but I've seen many of them in person, I think it looks pretty good.
I especially like the interior layout. It's just... cool. Very cool.
What's the realistic MPG numbers with sport setting? Does anyone know?

Really? I should go and test drive one.. I've been really curious and wanting to take it out for a spin. Does the gauges really change the color when you pick different settings? That's so cool.

I spoke to a CR-Z owner recently who does similar roadtrips and his 300 mile highway drives see over 47 mpg at 68 mph. Not bad considering there are mountain passes along the way...
