Sorry I have been super busy lately. I got the new Krypton Green Elise and we immediately removed the rear clam to mock up the engine bay. Here are some pics of the car taken apart. The removal process took us about 4hrs. We basically had to gut the car from the dash back.
This particular one, nothing. We needed to take measurements and learn how the rear came off. We are going to 3d scan everything we need put it back together and put it back on the market.
Any chance of you picking up an Evora the next time you get another Lotus?
The thought has crossed my mind. I drove the IPS (Auto) Evora and it was very dissapointing. I need to test drive an Evora S to see how it is. The NA one seems soo slow.

Congrats. Personally, I prefer the Elise/Exige to the Evora.
Enjoy it!
Its a different animal. This is more of a GT car. Which is exactly what it will be used for. I still have an elise which will get some track use this summer.
I had the pleasure of driving a R8 4.2 a couple of weeks back and it was absolutely awesome. I do want to get one at some point. The purchase of an investment property has temporarily held that up. Maybe next summer I'll be able to get my hands on one.

I do. Its every other saturday. I havent seen your TSX there, do you attend?
I've been meaning to make it out... not yet, though (I wouldn't put my TSX in the show area, Haha). We're from east of Pittsburgh... Irwin/Monroeville area, so it's ~45 min/ ea way.

Im actually in forest hills about to move to oakland so I know all about that drive. TSX will fit fine, no one judges peoples cars. if you are cool and enjoy cars bring it down park with the rest of us, have some coffee and shoot the shit
The next cnc is this weekend. I will be in jersey for a Lotus event but should be at the one 2 weeks from this sat.
If for any reason someone gives you shit about parking your car just say the guy in the green lotus told me it was okay and to come deal with him.
Haha, I appreciate that. But, I don't park it in any shows. It's just a DD. It's nothing special
Hopefully I can just ride up with my brother, in his c6z. He's been there before... black, heads/cam, real loud... I think we actually parked by you guys down at the Waterfront cruise last year for the PVGP show

If i remember correctly we had really crappy parking last year. The year before was a bigger mess, a careless lady broke the side mirror of one of the Gallardos that was with us by walking into it. Definitely not one of my favorite events.
Yea, last year it was crappy conditions all the way around... raining too. We didn't get down there till mid-late in the event, we didn't leave the house until it dried up a bit
I guess its time to update this for 2015. Since the green Evora I have sold that and my silver Elise which had about 30k miles and a lot of carbon fiber parts that we make.
I bought a yellow elise that only had 4500 miles and an Ariel Atom 2 with 300hp
