Sitting on the showroom floor
Went to get an oil change for the MDX this morning and yes, there were two new RLs on the lot and yes, there were two ZDXs (nice car!) as well, but sitting on the showroom floor was this beautiful 1986 Legend (sorry for the lousy cell phone pix).

Wow, what a blast from the past. Beautiful car and a wonderful precursor for the 2G Legend and our RL. They really want $25k for it?
This will be much more appreciated in Car Talk, so I am moving the thread there.

as first i was like: WTF, what kind of dealer would degrade themselves and do this...
and then i realized, as i hope you guys did, that Acura started in 1986!! thats one of the first Acura's ever produced!! nice!
now as soon as acura makes a sports car and gains more respect throughout the world, that car might actually go up in value...

It also helps the janitorial staff from moping up less from customers who typically become ill after viewing the current Acura product line (sans MDX)

Look, when you have a choice betwen the old Legend, or a ZDZ, a TL, a RDX, or RL..........you put the Legend on the showroom floor.

If I were rich and had an extra 25k to blow, I'd buy it, but like someone else said if it were a 2G GS coupe in 6sp it would have a much better chance of fetching that much. Still props to Davis Acura for keeping that thing clean. I've heard good things about that dealership.
