Simple question about car parts
I know this my sound dumb, but when looking for car parts (I'm looking for a front, passenger side axle shaft for my winter car) they always list the parts for either the RIGHT or LEFT side rather than for DRIVER or PASSENGER side.
When they say RIGHT or LEFT, where is the point of origin? From inside the car (where RIGHT would = Passenger side) or looking at it from the front (where LEFT would = Passenger side)?
I'm assuming RIGHT = PASSENGER. Can anyone tell me if this is correct?
