the computer-generated drawing ( a nice one) is actually the DOA CLE-class that mercedes want to slot between the C and the E (just like the CLS is between the C and the S) as a 4-door "coupe". the Original intention was to have it have Mazda RX-8 style doors. However, in light of the many quality problems that plagued mercedes for the better part of last decade (the C, the E, the brake-by-wire system), the incoming Mercedes chief has axed several projects, the CLE being one of them. So enjoy the drawing, because thats all we are going to get for a while.
