The Fusion/Milan with the 4 cylinders are really slow. But I'm sure any of these with a 4 banger would be slow.

Hey! Thanks for the input.
As far as I know they are all "entry level" V6 trim.
Looked closely at a couple of Aura's onthe road today. Also saw quite a Fuzion's - not so many new Camry's.

(The Aura is nice too but, I would not...and did not....get it over the Accord.) IMHO, the Fusion/Milan are VERY underrated.

Turned out I didn't have a choice.
By the time I had enough miles to order the "crash" had occured and, based on what I was told, Ford/GM were not making *any* fleet vehicles available (to us?) until 3rd qtr '09. So our fleet manager went out and found some Camry program cars to tide over drivers with high mileage cars.
I got no choices (int/ext color, etc); just got handed one of whatever she had in the program pool.
2009 Black/Ash Camry LE (4 cyl) w/Moonroof and Traction Control. Picked it up Friday. I figure it'll probably be pretty much bullet proof, particularly since it'll be ~90% highway.
Wife asked if there was anything "better" in this car than the '07 TL-S. In two days I have not thought of / found a single thing.
First thoughts:
- Nice ride; Quiet
- Acceptable acceleration (esp for a 4 Cyl)
- Looks like a lot of trunk space (plenty of room for golf clubs)
- Plays MP3 CD's
- Nice Mats
- Quite a lot of little storage cubbys
- Clean, easy to use interior layout.
Pretty basic, but it's new and a new car is *always* cool. And a *free* new car is pretty much unbeatable.

Never impressed with Ford.....And the Mercury is a rebadged Taurus (I believe), with Ford interior plastics not being up to par. And the styling is, well, meh...
The Aura, while being a Malibu/whichever Buick product/G6, is still based in an Opel platform, and has pretty good interior ergonomics. I'd say this should be good for traveling around, and giving the impression you're company uses American products....
