I would pick the M3, although I love the styling of the S5 it just didn't impress me like the M3 did when I test drove both.
Not to mention, the M3 isn't exactly what you would call ugly.

Looks like I have to clean up a bit here lol. The R8 is my dad's, as described in my garage. My brother and I own and operate a landscaping company and I also work for UPS at night. As for the deal I can get from BMW, I'm unsure of the exact details, but if I decide to walk down that road, I'll let you know. Thanks for the replies. Although some being not so serious, it's all very much appreciated. My mind is still in a hundred different places pertaining to my decision. AWD..more hp..aesthetically pleasing..better deal/free maintenance..on and on..

A few of my customers have both M3's and M5's and they say the M3 nickle and dimes them to death on tires and alot of little things but they Love the M5
M5 > S5 all day long.
Congrats to you. I wish I could buy any one of the three

My one bit of "wet blanket" advice would be this.... BUY A HOUSE. It's a buyer's market. Save some money, get into your own place and build equity. The cars are depreciating assets... you can buy those later. I was 22 and my wife was 20 when we were in contract to build our first place (not far from you actually, right on the Cortlandt Manor/Peekskill border by the river)... and it was one of the best moves we made. Now we're in a really, really good position, we have owned many of the cars we wanted when we were younger, and we haven't had a car payment in over 5 years b/c we can buy what we want.
Trust me... it's alluring now... but it makes more sense to build some assets. Then you can spoil yourself in a few years and not even have to get into debt to do it!!
OK, wet blanket over... I'd still choose the S5

I'd recommend buying a place to live over a $50k car any day, especially if you're still living at home and even more so in today's market. Sure, it will take longer to make money in this market then it did for us in 2003/2004, but if you buy a nice foreclosure or short sale, within a couple years you will have some nice equity whereas that $50k car will be worth maybe $20-25k.

That's awesome. My buddy owns a landscaping company and he does pretty well for himself.
