Yep. Before I bought the M5 I test drove a silver '07 IS-F with about 48K on it (if I remember right). The Audi dealer offered to sell it to me for $37,500.

Didn't realize 38k was mid 30s. However if you look around you can find a couple 2008 IS-F with 35k-50k miles on them for between 38k or 39k.

lexus is a totally different car IMO. much more luxury focused in its driving characteristics. on top of that parts/service (even on your own) will be more expensive than the zeta based holden chassis and LSx platform the G8 is on.

the ISF is an awesome car, dont get me wrong. my main gripe is the Auto only, sorry...not shelling out $40k+ for a PERFORMANCE sedan that wont let me row my own gears.

real world: your going to find a G8 GXP manual in the low to mid $30's with low miles while you would have to really hunt for a low mile IS-F in the low 40/high 30 mark.

also food for thought, im pretty sure the GXP has similair if not better performance #'s than the ISF as well. so the argument would be, do you want to spend more money for a luxury car?
