That is exactly what I tell everyone when they asked what is so great about it. Until you drive the car, you might not understand it.

Gets me excited because its an affordable sports car that I can actually own. Sure Lambo's and Ferrari's are nice to look at but will you ever drive one? Probly not.

I know you're a big guy Minch...but have you tried fitting in one? My buddy is 6'3" 240 and he fits.

Anyway....I got new tires last night so I went out for some 'spirited' driving... and this car gets better every day. I've honestly never had so much fun driving.

People love to play with an s2k too... on my lunch break today a modded 911 was zipping around with me. Seems like every other (nice) sports car on the road wants to race me in this thing, that rarely happened in my old GT or the CLS.

Bummer Ed! Actually, I called you out in another thread when I was trying to make my decision.

This car has amazing handling! My last convertible was a 6MT MB SLK-320 and it looked nice, but this is an awesome car. Miss the heated seats, but not the limo-like handling.

Viva s2k!

mines an 02. I think the 03 was the first year with the 2.2 instead of the 2.0...I kinda wish I went for that instead...but I still love it.

Thanks Dom

I'm actually trying to start a breed of Weasels ...I'm trying to find a female that is the same mix or close that he can breed with, I already have 3 people lined up who want puppies. The personality mix is good too... he's the smartest dog I've had (and I've had a bunch)... real friendly and playful, but still extremely protective.

Looks bigger in the pic. I would have said 90+.

Good luck in your quest for a new breed.

Wow, this thread is pretty diverse.

Nice black S2k by the way!

I hit 60 miles last night. I am almost out of the breakin period!

By the way, while I have not really tached the engine beyond 4k'ish this car has some pull even before VTEC!

Hmmmm, I thought everyone was satisfied with the cell phone pics. Maybe I will give it a bath this weekend and take some additional shots.

I am up to 198.6 miles. The break-in period will be over soon!

Congrats!!! Welcome to the club!

I have an 04. Just wait till you break it in. It will feel faster and faster up till about 10,000 miles. Mine is a daily driver and it's very doable as that. The 2.2L makes the low end power a little more bearable. From 3k RPM on up you are fine...its at 6k when the real fun begins

Enjoy and be safe!

Sweet, I cannot wait. I will pass 200 miles this weekend! I need to rev that baby to the limit. I am still amazed by the handling.

That is not surprising. I think the treadwear rating is 140 on the rear tires.

Hey everyone. I FINALLY passed 200 miles last night.

For those of you that own this car, have you ever been able to install the boot in under 15 minutes?

This boot is making me nuts. I hope at some point it will stretch. Grrr...

I got the boot in place.

That thing is a PITA. My MB SLK-320 6MT spoiled me having the automatic boot. A lot less power and inferior handling, though.

Any complaints about the car? I am SERIOUS about getting an 06(assuming the come out in Aug.) In fact I want the same exact combo. that you have. If there are no real changes for 06 from 05 I may try to find a smoking deal on a left over 05 When I picked up a new accord sept. of last year they had a brand new 04 still in the show room!

I was tossed up between the elise and this, and I think the S will just be so much more fun to live with and own, not to mention to purchase! Keep my TSX as a daily driver and have a fun nice weather car.
