Is Scion Pointless?

3rd Coast
I like the previous designs of the tC and that was the only Scion that I have somewhat liked. But the 2011 design I don't really like. The roof line looks funky.

I've never liked the Scion's but that's just a personal opinion.
Toyota had the right idea when they came with Scion, but the execution hasn't been there.
The fact is, Toyota looked at the future demographics, like all businesses look at so they can exploit a specific target market. They saw the tremendously high number of youths years early, so they wanted to come with an affordable, yet "cool" car that the young consumers would want to buy.
I think initially, they did alright, but they've barely made changes, something that car companies have to do all the time to stay in the game. Good idea, but I believe the future is grim for Scion.

Someday, an RS6 Avant+
^ How in the world do they stay in business by themselves? Never thought they sold that well...
Our ONLY scion dealership in southern Delaware (2 in all of DE) seem to have shipments every month of about 10 TCs, 2 xbs and 2 xds. Seriously, after what, 7 years, the tc needs a replacement, but kids are still buying them because they look cool. Brother does have a tc, and its been a pretty good car.
But what i found funny was a thread that said the most common speeder... well ones caught as least, the most stopped car by police was the TC. It has worked for Toyota actually (lowering the median age i mean). But they need to do something quick to keep consumers interested. Ugly ass designs.

xA = Ist (yes, a Toyota Ist)
xB = bB
xC = USDM car only
xD = Ist (their new model)
the only thing they have going for them (as a brand) is you can feature it out like a 12 year old and a crayon. Draw what you think is cool and you too can be a 'er
