Coming along! Can't wait to see the final product.
I remember long ago when I actually did things on New Years.....looked like fun. Did you guys have to buy coats and hats for the trip? Lol

Got the pic you sent me of the wheel. I forgot you said you were going with the polished lip. They came out looking great.
I was sick, fever and all, for the first time in nearly 10 years yesterday. It was a BAD day.

Indeed; a slight variation of it at least.
Hope you feel better dude. My wife actually caught the flu shortly after we got back. I think it had to do with the drastic temp changes within a short time period...
Thanks! I actually purchased the entire kit from ebay; the infamous ebay kit if you will.
Awww, thanks J, you're making me blush!

Thanks! Dug up some of your old posts; car definitely looks clean.
It's easy to loose motivation in modding a 10+ year old car given the fact aftermarket support was non-existent and still is. But for me, the fact that we have something that's so rare makes it worth wild. Of course that and my wife's support as she loves the car as well.
Looking forward to seeing your build!
Thanks D!

Have been debating on whether to (1) sell it will everything included; (2) sell it stock and sell all the performance parts here; or (3) put it all together and see what it turns out to be.
I don't want a car note but I would love a 1-Owner 996 Turbo.
Decisions...decisions. Thanks again for all you help and advice, Diddy. Much appreciated.
Keep it coming, RichKid.
BTW, one more brother on the site...

I may have overlooked this but when are you planning on having the car back up and running? I know you're doing lots of things to it while its down (like my garage queen) and sometimes it's hard to find a stopping point in the midst if all you're doing. I keep doing and doing and doing and doing and because of that it never gets any road time. Lol

Nope, still got it. Just crossed 39k miles. I have all this stuff and have not installed it...

You could probably get 2-3G depending on condition and any extras included.

After it gets painted, it's off to get BBK, rotors, brake lines, & new tires installed.
Speaking of tires; pardon the crappy phone pics, but you get the idea...
Prepped.
Primer'd.
Painted.
Result.
Sneak peak of the front end.
Almost there guys... almost there!

[QUOTE=gnuts;14823339]I'm guessing you have a supercharger? Throw it on! You'll fall in love all over again.
Yup, Gnuts: SC, CT Headers, CT Cat backs, AEM gauges integrated into rearview mirror, Emanage Blue, and 19's.
Closing on a house next Friday so I will have a garage again. A lack of one has been an impediment.

I'm telling you from experience install all that and you'll love it.

As Diddy said, you'll fall in love all over again... Trust me!
Did you integrate the gauges onto the rearview mirror yourself?

Picked up from a seller on Ebay; 2.5" in / 3" out.
Other than the look of the stock tips, I've been pretty content with the sound of my exhaust (headers, test pipe, vibrant resonator, & stock mufflers). Sounds similar to a G35/37 at idle & cruise... I'm going to pick up an ultra quiet resonator to quiet it down a bit more; but should be to my liking once the UQR is installed.

I did not. Sourced it through a guy in Texas. Sent him the mirror and gauges and he sent it back all buttoned up and tidy. That was my big thing, I did not want any gauges showing. Stealth...
