Savage's M3 Thread...

I picked it up in early September and I finally got around to uploading a few more pics after cleaning it up this weekend...

2011 BMW M3 Sedan
Jerez Black (really a dark blue metallic)
Competition Package, Navigation, DCT, pretty much loaded...

Day 1

Lakeside

Ready for winter. I dropped down to 18" but kept the stagger with 18x8 up front and 18x9 in the rear. I just didn't want to get too narrow back there. I spent a lot of time cleaning it this weekend so the blue really comes out in that last picture...

In terms of modifications all I have planned so far are the Lux LED Angel Eyes. Maybe an exhaust and some other things down the road...

Great looking M3

I highly urge you to look into exhaust systems. I had the pleasure of driving a new M3 with some sort of catback exhaust and it sounded effing amazing.

I'd rebadge it as a 328.

Great looking M3. I've always been a fan of the 4 doors.

Not even a year old when I picked it up and it had only 2,200 miles. I had my eyes open for a sedan for a while. I was lucky to find it. Guy traded it in on a brand new 911...

They definitely do sound amazing with an exhaust. I am going to hold off for now though. I've spent enough on toys this year!

Nice car! I'm looking to pick up a white coupe in the upcoming year -- still debating between that or an ISF.

M3 with snows is a beast in winter, you will have no problems!

Now get some painted reflectors! Once again congrats!

Thanks guys...

As of right now the only thing I have planned is the LUX Angel Eyes and a clear bra. I considered tints and the black grill, but I decided against it for now. I think it would be too dark. It looks awesome on other colors, but I wasn't ready for a complete blackout. I'd like to do an exhaust at some point, but I've got some other expenses to take care of first...

Yours looked awesome. What wheels and lip are those? Good luck with the M6! I remember seeing that thread a while ago...

Installed the LUX 6500K LED angel eye kit earlier this week. Came out great! I can't believe I waited this long to pick it up.

Pic of the interior, per request. I really like it. My only complaint is that with this much black it gets dirty quick.

Hopefully I can do a proper photo shoot this spring.

I kind of like the contrast of the chrome surround on the grills. The car is already a dark car, so it helps it pop a bit more. I do think that the black grills look awesome on other colors.

Haha, I thought the same thing in regards to the pedals as I posted the pic. I should look into it.

Agreed on Lux! Although, I may be biased since the company was started by one of my best friends (I was his best man, we still live in the same town a couple of miles from each other) and I have helped him from time to time making the sets throughout the years. There is a small chance that I helped make your set of Lux! But all bias aside, they really are the best choice.

That's awesome! Pass on my thanks. As an electrical engineer, I can appreciate the quality of his design. I also liked to see his fast responses to any issues that people have had over the years. That was another contributing factor that lead to my decision.

I think I may have also convinced a few friends to go Lux as well...

I went to the Herb Chambers Cars and Coffee last Saturday, 7/13/13. Here are a couple of pics I took with my phone. This was a fraction of the cars that were there...

The M5 on the left was insane. Tons of mods, mostly cosmetic and electronics...

This supercharged NSX found his way next to mine. Reminded me of my Acura roots.
