The good news for you is that you'll be able to pick up a 2008 for your 30th birthday for about $35k

Seriously.

Haha, yeah, I know!
I'm currently looking at 2003 or older CL55's under $40k!
Not quite in the market yet though.

If I couldn't get the change back I would go with a 997 C2S loaded EXACTLY how I wanted it, which would still be under $100k

However, if I could have the change I would buy a new Lotus Elise SC and probably be even happier then I was with the Porsche.

Its been a favorite of mine since i was in middle school, and its nice knowing it won't change.

a lot depends on what i'm going for?
daily driver. probably a 4 door mega cab 4x4 Dodge 1 ton cummins Ram loaded out with enough left over to put a western bed on it and put some L.E.D. lighting on it. plus grille guard and some other misc shit.

for fun car but yet haul kids and ass in: SRT-8 Charger. throw some rims on it, put a bitching stereo system in it, drop down monitors and do a crazy paint job on it . basically trick it out.

Geico: "People are stupid"

Many of these cars are OVER $100,000.

As far as my choice goes...a 911 Carrera S with some Techart goodies.

For some reason I've become a fan of the A4 Avant.
So maybe an S4 Avant with RS4 drive train

If not that, a "fully equipped" Cayman S.

I think that they make RS4 Avants in Europe. Dunno if there's one here or not.

Wait wtf is that black camouflaged thing in majin ssj eric's post?
I was thinking along the same lines (GT3) but even if the fat man gets invoice I doubt there are ANY GT3s in the country that aren't 112K+ MSRP cars, if I wasn't building this stupid 2nd home I would have bought one this year and I could never get the price below 115K on the Porsche site for what I wanted and that wasn't even with carbon brakes...

fuck yeah it would be.
a new Ram like i said above runs about 57-60 grand MSRP.
an all aluminum painted matched installed cowboy cadiliac bed runs about 12 grand
put the Banks Big Hoss package on it which kicks it up around 500 hp that runs about 5 grand installed
a good grille guard runs about 1000 bucks installed
good nerf bars are about 600 bucks installed
get a set of off road tires just for mudding put them on the stock rims then get a set of fancy rims with the the OEM tires on that. your talking 2-3 grand there. depending on what you like and what tires you get.
still enough left over to pay uncle sam for taxes

But I would gladly put up with that annoyance to own a DB9.... minus the insurance costs.

I thought the same thing, expecting it to be next to your thigh/ knee, and then I looked closer, and thought "wtf"
