Same tint all around? or staggered?
I'm going to get my car tinted tomorrow. TX sun is brutal on the interior.
Do you guys think I should do an even 20% all aorund front windowns and back?
OR
20% on front windows and 10% on rear windows.
I've got the stone interior on my car so it's pretty light and I think I can get awya with 20% on the front windows though state law is 30%. I used to have 20% metallic tint on the CLS and it was great for the summer heat.

but 20% is rather dark for the fronts.
I'd personally go with 35% all around to play it safe.

on to the next one...
Do they have tint laws in TX?
I have 20% (actually closer to 15%) all around. I can only think of a handful of times I thought it was "too dark at night".
Go with the 20% all around, you won't be disappointed.

IMO and what i've always told people to do is go darkest on the rear window then do all the sides a step lighter. It's also what i've seen most tint shops recommend, atleast out here

I don't have anything, and the heat is killing me too.
I just hate the dark look of tints. I'd like to get some of that light blue tint like on MBs, if it keeps the heat out.

got my tinting done today. 20% all around but the shop was nice enough to give me paperwork saying it's 30% on the fronts and 20% in the rears in case I get pulled over. Good people here.

Unfortunately, the paperwork does you no good if the cop has access to a meter (which every cop around here does)
But EVERYONE in TX has tint, so I don't think you'll stick out as much as you would around my neck of the woods...
