No but the rear itself yes! When my car is finished getting assembled this month I should be ok with near 700whp on the stock rear as long as I dont put slicks on it. He should be ok, but I have seen a s/c'd gto w 600whp destroy the lsd, rear, and the axles with drag radials.

GM mildly reinforced the 2006 V's rear differential. Mine was whining so I had the '05 replaced w/ an '06 diff. I wouldn't really call it an upgrade, but rather just an update.

There are 2 groups putting together a Ford 9" rear diff. as we speak. If I ever decide I need more power I'll need that diff. upgrade!

My next set of tires will probably be Goodyear GS-D3's or Toyo T1-R's. Not quite as sticky as the stock Goodyear F1 Supercars. That should help reduce wheelhop even more.

Supposedly Moser is making a diff. for the caddy and gto, along with 35 spline axles.
