S4 Update

well, i guess once you start, it is just hard to stop.
it all started with me modding the 3G TL. traded that for the S4.
i just made my first payment and i already have purchased the following:

1. 4 new tires - Pirelli PZero Nero M+S
2. wheel guide pin (http://www.audizine.com/forum/showth...threadid=20426)
3. catback exhaust (sound clip: http://www.stratmosphere.com/media.htm)

i think i will stop there for now...
good thing gas prices are going down.

It's nice to see you're doing some things to that S4. I might be picking up a Sprint Blue or Brilliant Red B7 in the near future and my mod list is already extremely long even without the car in my driveway yet.

Any plans for wheels when the weather gets nice?

i love the S4!! i was able to get the exhaust at a discounted price. let us just say it was the same price as the CT catback that i had in my 3G TL which i also got with a nice discount.

wheels and springs are in the works already. still trying to finalize the price. as of right now, it is a maybe.

it is a 2005 B6 S4. the B7's are nice too but everything underneathe is pretty much the same. besides, i got my B6 as a CPO (6 months old with 6,500 miles). got a great price on the CPO plus a very nice price for my trade.

thanks everyone!!

check the dyno video. awesome exhaust note...
ignore the cracking sound. that's from just being in an enclosed shop which hightened the decibels...

an acquaintance owns the car in the video...

WOT!!!

By the way, how's the shifter on the car? I've only driven Mustang GT's in manual, so I can't really say I'm an expert. All I know is that you get a full upper-body workout from shifting American cars. I'm dying to get the car in a 6-speed but I'm unsure if I'd like driving a stick everyday, especially since I experience a lot of traffic in my commute. I've heard a lot of people praising the S4's setup, though. Any comments on that?

i think the 3G TL shifter is much better. the B6 S4 shifter is pretty decent. it took me about 2 days to get used to it. i think it would be a travesty to get the S4 in auto...
