S2000 Owners: What tires for winter and summer?
Any ideas what tires and size are good for the winter and for the summer?
From my short research, I guess OEM size (with 245) is good for summer... What's a good tire with better treadwear than the OEM's?
How about for the winter? What size would work? I have a set of like-new 225/55/16 snow tires laying around... would a non-staggered fitment work??

Three Wheelin'
I'm guessing you have an AP1...
If so, get 205/50/r16s for the front and 245/40/r16s on the back. REMEMBER, even though the stock S02s are 225s in the back, they are in reality as wide as a 245 tire.
The stock S02s are hard to beat in terms of outright grip in warm, dry conditions. A few local S2000s owners here are using Hankook Ventis 2 or some such and say that they are a significantly cheaper tire with decent grip. But they are reportly a joke in the cold. They perform well in the wet.
Don't run the stock S02s in any kind of snow, unless you have a death wish. I am not joking. Stock S02s are tricky enough in the rain, let alone in the snow, so DON"T EVEN TRY.
For the winter, a set of Dunlop Wintersport M3s would do the trick.
As far as running a non staggered setup - your just going to induce more oversteer in a car that already has a lot of the understeer dialed out from factory. I would stick to a non staggered setup.
