I would laugh but my wife did the same thing in her old car. Funny thing is I keep asking her how did you get it over the start of the curb to begin with, didn't you hit it and stop. She must have been flooring the car out of a parking spot to hop a curb like that. Same with the bitch above

How the hell did she get up on that curb like that without doing more damage? From the pics at least, there is no significant damage to either bumper.

Oooogleee

That is the ugliest front plate holder I've ever seen! Why would you leave it on your car if you don't need a front plate. Nevermind. I forgot about what the driver did in the pic.

If you look closely, you will see a black mark on the curb which would indicate she backed over the curb. There's prolly more clearance back there.:cheer:

When she realized she was going too fast, she should have opened those two air-brakes behind the front doors.

How would you even get the car out of this spot? I'd hate to call a tow truck to tow exactly 3 feet....

I would get one of those hydraulic floor jacks with wheels, jack up one end and push it until the wheels were on the curbing... then drive it down inch by inch - assuming there is enough clearance (there was no damage to the front or rear). You could also gain another inch or two of clearance by hyper-inflating the tires temporarily and removing any weight that might be in the car.

But, that's what Roadside Assistance is for. I'm sure Mazda has it also.

hehe .. don't worry, once she gets a phone call she'll forget about driving correctly and run into the guard rail or some one elses car.

You know, her wheels probably could not get enough traction to get her to start moving. But since it looks like they are touching the ground she just needs to add some weight to the back of the car and that could be enough.

Is RX-8 really 50/50 distributed?

P.S. It looked really nice flying trough the windows in Spiderman 2
