I think the RSx-S is much faster than the TSX well not much faster but it is quicker because they have the same amount of power but the TSX is slower because of the fact that it has 4 doors

stock rsx-s is almost as quick as a stock auto cl-s. so yeah, it's definately quicker than the tsx.

RSX-S has 200/142 to move a much lighter can than 200/166 to move the TSX.

They're entirely different cars though - their performance time stock is probably the LAST thing I'd ever compare considering:

One's a 2+2 sport hatchback
One's an entry-level luxury sedan
There are a plethora of forced-induction solutions available for the RSX-S
There are tons of suspension upgrades for the RSX-S
There will be several FI solutions available for the TSX in the coming months
There will be even more suspension upgrades in the coming months for the TSX than there already are

I believe the rsx type s manual got 0-60 of 6.2 seconds, and the tsx got like 7.1. So about a 1 second difference in 0-60 between these 2 in manual. And the rsx type s is a mid to high 14 second car. Got about the same numbers as the 6 speed cl.

Some places list the RSX as a 6.8 second car also. It also comes down to who is driving the two cars

good to hear....I pulled away from one from about 65 to 100 by a few car lengths. Makes me feel pretty good.

My TL-S when stock used to eat my ex wife's RSX-S for breakfast...It isn't a 6.2 sec, 14's car when stock at all...

I think he was trying to say that 4-doors are generally heavier than 2-doors.

c'mon bigb back yourself up and agree with me

Well, the CL-S and TL-S are similar cars, the TL-S does weigh slightly more than the CL-S but time wise they're pretty even. So while the TSX may be slower than the RSX-S because of weight, it isn't necessarily true

I understand where he's comin from and you're comin from though ... just thought the comment came out sounding kinda funny
