That seems like a crazy amount of boost going into a 2.0L, to produce power like that. I wonder what the long term reliability would be.
Just wait for these accord engines to start readily showing up at wreckers![Big Grin](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Probably quite poor on the reliability front.

I agree but I was under the impression that Hondata overall was a pretty conservative company and worked well with Honda to ensure long term problem free performance...
I didn't rewatch that when I posted it again just now but IIRC that wasn't even with ANY supporting mods like downpipe or intake or anything...
Crazy!

Based on? Hondata is a pretty reputable company. They’ve never really had a history of selling grenades to people.

I bet the factory exhaust system chokes that engine a good amount. A tune and full exhaust...

And intake and coil overs and pads and rotors and lines and fluid and sway bars and control arms and bushings and

Have you seen it in Bleu (that's Canadian for Blue)...?
I am not going to lie, I didn't like the nose at first, but it's grown on me...
probably one of the last decent looking manufacturers of a sedan with a manual available...
and really, it's a Honda...it's nice...it's not overpriced...it's 6MT...it's capable of 400 ft/lb for a daily
while still probably getting great mpg because only 2.0 displacement...
Hmmm...maybe 2 years from now I'll search for one out of a lease

They’re probably going to become cheap AF, seeing as they’re selling poorly and everyone is on the suv craze these days. In two years, they might be a steal.
Hmmm...

400ftlbs of torque straight to the front wheels sounds like a complete disaster. ![rofl](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/rofl.gif)
In any case, just because they can do it does not mean you should do it. A modest tune on the new Accord is probably more than sufficient before you start upsetting a lot of other things...
Also, it's a gorgeous car in person. I saw a black one the other day and it looked amazing.

I doubt it’s a complete disaster. There are guys putting down way more power than that, just to the front wheels. You can’t be stupid with it, but it can still be pretty fun.

There aren't any factory FWD cars putting down nearly that much to the front wheels for a reason. Of course there are people doing stupid things, I saw a post about someone doing a Hellcat swap into a prius (
). Doesn't mean it's a good idea.

Again, stupid is a bit much. Are you saying everything gerzand has done for the TL is stupid? I think many of his fans and supporters would disagree.
granted, it’s not practical having 600 front whp. But it can be done. And it can be fun. Maybe not for a daily, but still... I think 2/3s of that power can still be very livable. Agree to disagree?![Shrug](https://acurazine.com/forums/images/smilies/shrug.gif)

Null and proud of it
I'd actually consider getting one in like 5 years, given I could afford it!!!
I love everything about the styling and layout of interior and exterior...
I saw that one guy got his 2.0/10AT to 60 in 4.9 seconds!!! So, it ought to catch an IS350 easily, just my
