Thanks Chipper...but soon enough, you'll have the last laugh, I'm sure. Once you're boosting all over the place, you won't have anything to look at here.

Ironic...yesterday I was hearing all sorts of noises and hated the sound of the UK mod with the test pipe...today, I it...maybe it broke in

Either way...my good friend fixed the busted weld on stock cat so I'll try putting that back on unless I decide to re-order the high flow cat.

Some pictures of the process along with new vid

I googled images of what UK mod is but what's the purpose?
It sounds stock still, no?

Daaayum nevermind, keep it 38mm, I like the sounds of some others on youtube

My phone holder only goes up and down. And I don't care about trimming the video. Was for sound, mainly.

Well, I have the stock ap2 exhaust I put back in the attic, if I wanted to get back to silent. But no way...I am enjoying the raw sound...it basically just routes a good amount of the exhaust past the muffler so it sounds mean. I will only play with cat, catless, or high flow

I don't really care
I'd have to charge it, and the quality is mediocre. Again, for sound...so you don't really need to be watching, just listening.

In reareading that...I totally am coming across like a d*ck...but not intending to. I literally made the vid since people asked me about the sound. If I were trying to document the driving experience, I'd do something a little better!

Jeremy, I doubt there has been a day where you HAVENT come across like a dick...you are a dick, a good dick...we will just leave it at that...hah

I was just trying to throw some constructive criticism your way since I enjoy watching the video you post, except these 3 ....well, I guess I will be 2 cents richer every time I visit in here

Stop winking at me, you perv.

You mentioned the critique...I told you my intent. You tried to sell me on why I should listen to your critique that didn't apply.

Okay, thanks for the advice that I didn't need. I'll make better videos from now on. Or not.

The more things change, the more they stay the same.

Well, I got a killer deal on wheels I'd been eyeballing. Fenders rolled, bumpers trimmed, tab moved back...golden...no rubbing. Also put in the ecoated black premium centric rotors, cleaned up the pads, regreased everything and painted calipers black.

Thanks to Dennis' recommendation, I went Sumi HTR Z3...215/245 stock combo...wheels are 17*8 +45 and 17*9 +42 (funny, what I ordered was +35, which I was afraid wouldn't fit well...what arrived was 42 which wasn't even an option on the site. I was SOOO relieved! ).

Anyway

started with my mu lugs, but after painting caliper, I switched to the black ones.

Shit those Integrams are a lot nicer looking than the website makes them out to be ... Considering how cheap they are this might be a nice winter setup for me

EDIT: The graphite color makes the yellow pop soooooo hard. 10/10 looks way hotter than silver imo

I just looked for your thread to post something about waiting only to find it's Christmas in the Rockstar thread!

Konigs look great on there!!
I am glad you went with the black over the teal. But ya know... those orange lugs would match the turn signal ambers perfectly!

Not light...but not bad...with the chunky new tires...41 F/48 R gain of 5 pounds per wheel with 50% tread life on them.

how did I managed to write sowing *facepalm*

Not terribad weight-wise I guess. From the looks of the rear concavity, I imagine they'd be a good bit more aggressive in 18x9 +27 too. I dig that even at fairly non-aggressive offset the rear is still sloped enough to make em look great

Thanks, man...

The options were +35 or +27 and I actually received +42 so I'd imagine the 27 to actually be 15MM MORE concave than what I received.

Dude...at $575 shipped for the set...I could deal with a couple extra pounds.

Hmmm...well, it's supposedly the German equivalent to Enkei as far as brand goes...it's flowform cast...felt solid, rides solid, the finish on it was nice and pretty. They had 20% off on their site until the 12th...and it applied to the wheel purchase so I jumped on it! I was under a grand with the wheels and the Sumitomo tires shipped to my door.

Zero RAGRETS!

It really does look fucking fantastic on the S... they really do have a very German/Euro aura about them that gives the car a totally different vibe imo. I guess its one of the reasons I love 14 spoke wheel styles so damn much

Or in this particular case 16 spoke

Thank you sir...very much.
I was tempted by a few on wheel flip, but usually people want way too much money on baller wheels and tbh, some of them I was interested in because they are big names and not because I loved the design. These, I absolutely love on the car from all angles. Drives great, looks great...didn't break the bank. Super happy...love the shape, the way there is some concavity, the finish, the way the spokes stick out from outer rim but end before the edge. Just all around, was in love with them the moment I saw them.

Classic wheel...not much more money...and lighter weight...can't beat that, man...your car is looking the business and pretty soon it'll be GOING the business to match!

Fuuu... I never saw myself as a wheel guy but after seeing yours and John (ebelp's) I'm getting an itch..

I still have a set of 8.5 A-Specs sitting in my garage waiting to be fixed and powdercoated but damn your old Advans and these ones are MONEY

Also real question: How did you get out of the car after parking in a puddle and how did the car still look so damn clean. Also how did you get back in said car?

I love a nice stock wheel...but something about it being stock and not changing the entire look of the car much without new shoes always propels me...

Duh, I glide on water!
