Aww yeah. They look nice, J!
When do these get installed?
And yes, you made sig status. I got a good laugh out of that post.

Well, I appreciate it. Infamy is what I'm after!
Hmmm...I'm not sure, I'll likely set preload and lube the threads in the next few days. No rush really. I ordered new spanner wrenches that should be here early next week. I'm not installing until I can totally lock/unlock all the rings without issue.

Sounds good! One little project at a time! I'm sure you'll have them on next time I see you.

Count on it...especially since tophats are on, it's literally a bolt in and bolt out...I've read that the driver rear is a PITA to get to the top 2 bolts, but you can move the gas assembly over or something that.
Hey,
Q: what's really slow, sideways and scared sh*tless all at the same time?

No, 2 weekends from now!

LOL...it's true!
Okay, well...exhaust slightly adjusted tonight, the passenger side muffler hanger was slightly toughing the sway bar. Fixed!
AND, all 4 coils have been totally cleaned, and brushed ALL threads on them, added the teflon dry lube to them and I've set the preload and rebound on all 4. Last thing when the missing spanner arrives...remove old suspension and use as a gauge for a starting point for where it'll sit and tighten that down and pop them in. Should be a fairly easy install given that the suspension has been done before on this car so I expect NO seized bolts.
J.

they do look very clean and did you get them for a hell of a deal or what
I have been using the White Lithium Grease and it does the job very well, how do you like the dupont teflon lube?
Just as a precautionary method, no matter whose car am working on, I tell them to spray the exposed bolts with pb blaster for 2 days in a row before coming over....we encounter more rust that you do, but cant be tooo careful

Thanks Meko, Anil and Steven!
Meko, I appreciate the kind words, man. As I get older I really do feel like I take more and more of my time to do things right the first go.
Anil, I love it...once it dries it does have this white residue kinda, but it is absolutely DRY so it supposedly repels new dust and dirt to ensure it'll never seize up. I have lithium too, but that tends to be a little messier and I was afraid of selecting something that might attract and HOLD the dirt. Having had my Megans on my RSX seize up on me, I have a healthy fear of that ever happening again with this "separate preload" style.
Steven, thanks a lot, man...very much!

As they say...once you mod, you can't stop.
It's extremely addicting esp. if you love cars. This is why I fight as hard as possible to avoid it.

Oh nice, you found all the modifry stuff already!
Suspension install is pretty easy to do. For the driver's rear, Undo the gas filler nozzle (3 bolts where the gas cap is, 1 bolt where it attaches to the structure in the trunk) to move it out of the way.
BE CAREFUL not to drop the tophat nuts into the shock towers in the back!
Here's mine.

FWD, RWD, she ain't got no torque, bruh!
Why you being such a bellend lately? I don't ask for recognition, I just enjoy posting pictures and sharing.
The truth has been spoken
Hey, thanks a bunch, man...yeah, I was watching that TEIN install DIY. I've got some experience so I'm hoping it'll go smoothly. I'm really excited about a nice soft ride...I've done this long enough to know that even though the ride isn't TERRIBLE on the espelir and shocks, it'll be a lot more tolerable on coils...and I'll be able to set it slightly lower too.
