only the cool ones who say brother/bruh/braahh/bro, have a lot of siblings ...others mostly have 1....
though my argument can be easily proven wrong by pulling population counts LOL

What? F150? Oh yeah
I am mostly at the office designing, not on field. Some has big ass trucks that looks badass
I go field, I buy F150
I continue stay at office, I buy Jeep Wrangler 4dr
after 10yrs
Made me take back what I said before about just keeping the S stock and enjoy it as it is.
Give it all the power

indeed sir, and honestly, having driven in the rain in the S...especially on turns, keep her at 5K rpms and below or you'll end up like that. I can see why it's SO hard to find a clean one nowadays. I have a feeling if I keep mine in perfect condition and don't overdo it, I might turn a profit if I ever decide to sell it!

I agree, not at all...I don't see myself selling it in the foreseeable future!
Dennis, have you visited MODIFRY.com?
Holy hell...you know all the little annoyances about the space in the car etc? This guy makes custom parts to tackle those issues. So far, I've got his DCI (to maintain all dash controls, and then some combination of button presses for my new pioneer radio)...I got the glove box divider (AWESOME), side mounted bracket and folding cup holder (for my morning coffee), I JUST ordered the phone holder bracket, the soft top strap replacements and the modules so that the sidemarkers come on with parking lights (like the TL). I'm blown away by the guys support for the car and cheap shipping.
I'm blown away by his attention to detail.
Only other thing on my radar is js2k.com and his set of clear reflectors to clear out the headlights. I just haven't decided if I want that better than having the amber up front. I kinda like it and it matches the amber in the tails.

My car came with the modrify thing for the radio controls. I'm going to pick up the glove box. I scored an oem front lip and that's painted and ready to go. Oem floor mats arrive tomorrow. I have led fogs installed with the housing blacked out like headlights. I rerouted my gps antenna to make it fit in the secret compartment. I've been busy with but im just too lazy to post pics
#532
no kidding...I wondered if those hand me down mats ever made it out of Justin's trunk and into your car.
Really? Blacked out LED fogs? The huge yellowish SMD is what turned me off to them for now. Look forward to seeing yours.
Oh, and the first 2 minutes of this clip are exactly how I felt...

Lol I have the mats but my friend bought me a new set as a xmas gift I wasn't too sure about the yellow but they look good on the black car. Not sure about silver though. All I know is I hated the vent plastics.

So, productive S2000 weekend.
I want to give a big kudos and thumbs up to Modifry...as an individual vendor that has created all these products for the S2000 the instructions, construction, fair pricing and cheap AND fast shipping are and absolute cut above. Bob, thank you thank you thank you.
I had already installed his wired DCI to use the dash buttons with the Pioneer I installed...streaming bluetooth, combinations of button presses that have multiple EXTRA functions, can't say enough. Also added his side bracket and cup holder to get my morning coffee out from behind the shifter. The glove box organizer, another lifesaver...
Today I added his soft top straps that keep the canvas from folding in on itself when the oem straps fail. Perfectly engineered, took me 10 minutes to install with no need to re re-rivet. The guy is a genius. Next up was the CELL phone mount, I selected the cheaper one that mounts on the dash rather than near the new cup holder mount...seemed more intuitive to be closer.
Lastly, I installed his sidemarker modules that allow the sidemarkers to light up with the parking lights AND still signal. Only thing I don't like is now it alternates the signal with the front and sidemarker when parking lights are on, but small price to pay to have the look. Another flawless product.
That said, I took advantage since I had to remove the front wheels anyway to test fit the rear 15MM spacers on the front. Problem with the S2000 is the rear hub is 64.1 like all honda's...front is 70.1. Luckily, the spacers that came on the car had the hub insert that I as able to remove and carefully hand tighten dowen to ensure it was perfectly centricly mounted. Same with the rims...took for a test drive to see and absolutely no vibrations. Sweet, saved me the $130 for some new version 2 spacers with the correct hub bore. I had anther set of solid mounted hub 15's and 20's for the rear...I opted for the 20's. Drove around...no rubbing and about as flush as I'll need to be.
This is all in addition to having washed and waxed her on Thursday night and installed some LED boards in the interior, trunk and license plate in addition to retrofitting the broadway mirror in. I know technically I don't need it...but I feel very vulnerable when sitting at a light with the top down...I like being able to look and see my entire surrounding in one fell swoop. I hope you enjoy the pictures.

Oh, and mystery solved since I was in there...I checked what low beam bulbs are in there and now I know why they're so effing bright. Phillips 85122+! SCORE! I'm tempted to do CBI's but it's a waste of money to drop a few lumens and raise some kelvin.

Yay S got modded
I like the side markers with fronts
I like how it sits currently. Perfect drop and spacers for my taste, well rear could be a little lower
That's a perfect spot for cellphone haha
Nice shots as always and thanks for reminding me how silver looks like
What's top straps?
How is the color/kelvin compared to CBI?

I had the 85122+'s in my TL for a while before I got the CBI's. They are seriously bright. Only the CBI's come close. The main difference is the Phillips are a true 4300k bulb, and the Osram's are 5000k. Just depends on whether or not you mind the slight yellow hue of the 85122+ versus the pure white of the CBI's. I can't imagine what the 85122+'s look like through s2k projectors, but I'm going to find out.

The S2K is damn near perfect, J. Your photo skills keep increasing too. Did you shoot these with the 50mm?
I'd love to meet up to shoot again!

The straps are these elastic ones that provide support while the top goes down so it doesn't crumple on itself...I replaced them.
This man knows...thank you!

I actually swapped over to the prime 35mm 1.8 when I sold the canon for the nikon, but yes...prime lens is right! :thumbups:

I LOVE my 35mm prime lens; the shots are so damn crisp. How are you liking the Nikon compared to the Canon?
#556
Honestly, hard to tell but I did feel like I was able to take better pictures much more easily and quickly with the Nikon. That said, I've obviously gotten more experience and Lightroom since then. I probably would have been fine with the Canon, but I love my Nikon!

I concur....having played with Steven's Canon (), I feel the Nikon is easier wrt making pix look better for a person who just stepped up from a P&S or just a cellphone camera...
Also with the newer camera's having touchscreen and all, I feel that is a terrible waste...slows down the GUI and its not all that fun....
I want to get the 35mm 1.8 Prime Nikkor lens...hopefully soon...

Will do, sir...Austin has been begging me (literally, on his knees, mouth open) for another photo shoot, meet...Jonathan too...and they're actually much more talented than me, that's for sure.
Soon!
Anil, if you can deal with a tighter frame, the 50MM was awesome too...and about half the price. Great lenses though...
