@cu2wagon please show him how it's done with the labia moaning and balls draggin shit

@Majofo So...when I bought the truck it had a service suspension warning on the dash...a bad magnetic ride sensor. The dealer guy is cool as fuck and ordered the sensor along with a new ribbon for the 2nd row monitor that wasn't turning on. (mind you, this was
after paperwork signed...he had it inspected and he pays out of pocket for a 90 day warranty for anything big).

Anyway, apparently GM is on strike and he has been waiting on the sensor for magnetic ride...let me just say...it rides great out back but the front is harsh...it's LTZ trim specific too...the lower models don't get mag ride. So what is your opinion on the resistor bypass
option and throwing some Z71 ACDelcs in that bitch and call it a day? I can even leave the rear since it supposedly auto levels. I don't like removing features but apparently there's a big complaint on ALL 15/16 models across the board from LTZ to XL SLT to Esco...
speaking of which, just dawned on me her father has a front shock that's blown on his 15 Esco...he probably has 70K...they quoted him a grand. I was like, hold my beer...let's figure this shit out. I might bypass and do the Z71 OEM shocks for like $300 total and tell
him to do the same.

J.

This mofo is pricey but damn it's nice to use OEM connectors
Checkout - Xineering, LLC

or I can buy these from ebay on the cheap
https://www.ebay.com/itm/Autoride-Z5...MAAOSwQTVWCsZN
and then find the GM plugs here and solder in.
Motorcycle Terminals, Connectors, and Wiring Accessories

Shit, we might be doing this on your V! Fuck that magna ride replace shocks for a grand at a time. Right @CCColtsicehockey ?!?!
In the Burban, there's no button for sport mode, it literally just changes based on what it senses as height...so I'm not as inclined to keep it.
The 2004 felt much better going over bumps in the road...I was thinking maybe it's the 22's but the 20's were harsh too.

Get this shit...
unplug the height sensor and magnetic ride to remove the current going into the shock...
It rides superbly now.
Bypass it is...
I'm hollering at that connector supply guy to see if he can help me figure out which to buy for a plug
and play solution that doesn't cost 2 fiddy.

Saw similar about the magnaride on the Burban, on another forum.
One posted that it ran about $1100 to remove/replace with an aftermarket solution, but don't recall the brand.

Can't find the specifics in that thread, but saw that he found Fox for around $1200 & Bilstein for $450. Not sure if that's front only or all 4.

Might as well just do a full suspension lift. Get some 42" mudders.

I will say, this gen Burban/Yukon/E'lade don't look very good with a major lift.
Parent at my kid's school has a Tahoe-length Escalade with at least a 6" lift & it just looks goofy.

I could see 2-3, but more than that & the proportions look off, IMO.

lifting makes the wheels look small...
most i would do is level out front with a 2".
Rode out to kayak this weekend...put about 220
miles on it yesterday...what a smooth beast.
Got a hole in a tire...and speed was limited to 85mph
and it looks like the engine isn't dropping into V4 mode
I think that's either because of the TPMS error or the
magnaride error...

I'm trying to figure out what the oem connectors are to make my own
plug in $30 ebay resistor plug...

Dude, legit drops like 6 mpg on road trips...
love it or hate it but it works.

I'm waiting on the parts but if it rides as badly as it does with the sensor
error now, it's getting bypassed.

What about those people who cut the rear springs by like 6 inches and leave the front stock?

I went by the back street where I left my last burnout with the Caddy in 2018...STILL THERE!
Found a backyard engineer selling Magnetic ride bypass plug and play for $70 a pair...made him
an offer for both sets for a hundy. The magnaride shocks themselves when they are not active
are cushy as fuck. In the V you want that stiff when you give it the beans but on the 'Burb...it's just
not necessary. Tons of complaints on the 15 and 16 triplets, specifically...they changed the software
and maybe hardware on the newer ones. For $100 bucks if I can get back to being able to swap out
all 4 shocks for 2 hundo...shit...

You know her ass doesn't slow down for speed bumps, like ladies do(n't). I ain't putting $1000 struts/shocks
in once a year.

LOL...I heard that from my buddy Ray...
odd thing is the part had shipped...but it wasn't there yet.
You are probably right though...
I considered telling him to cancel the order and just
give me the money to cover the bypass kit instead.

guys...it's been 3 weeks since I bought a vehicle.
This is an unfair assessment.

I am impatient but at the end of the day I'm waiting on a sensor
for magneride that is already harsh...so I want the OPTION of using it
so I'm waiting on the sensor but at the same time I want to be able to bypass it
and enjoy the cushy ride no matter what.

I have a feeling they are the knock off ones...that's CHEAP for them and the center caps with no caddy insignia is a little suspect

height sensor didn't clear the magneride error even with a manual clear today
them ranchos and bypass kit lookin pretty right to me now...
