You too FJ.
 I am a little jealous that we don't have any real cool trails in the mountains and through trees and various seasons. Biggest thing I'll have to climb over is probably bath salts. |
You mean dead bodies from bath salts? Those piles could get pretty high at time.

I'm planning on doing the Wyoming Jeep jamboree next summer. You should come with and join me! Bring the whole fam and make it a road trip.

I love the color..
t-minus 5 minutes until J's orders of historical airforce and army vinyl decals come in Add in some bullshit lamp guards, rando hooks, a winch, more tacticool LED shit Taking bets on whether he removes the doors or not |
Oh, the doors are coming off for sure.
Easier for people to watch. Plus, you know he's all about that easy access. |
y'all are some mean girls!
the only way I'd road trip that is trailer the jeep there and pull with the Yukon! They have Mayhem some shit out here in the mud and River Ranch...I might do that with my boss next year if I still own it. Maj :tomato: I looked on amazon and the first 2 pages of accessories the previous owner must have blindly ordered. There was even an Army air freshener hanging but I immediately took that down...I don't front. :tomato: There was a pirate 4 x 4 decal I took off too... I ordered this one to match the front fender lime green Jeep decals though for the rear window...J actually insisted that I order it... It's called Citron Pearl and although it's mostly a respray...it is the original color and it's apparently super rare and only found on 97 TJ. https://cimg7.ibsrv.net/gimg/acurazi...2686d34a7e.jpg FJ I saw a newer 4 door yesterday that said FEMJEEP or some shit on the side...all they need is a huggy nose ring and a nice little mullet fade to complete the look! |

LOL...that's literally the same spot I just took the Jeep...
I smelled a whif of schnizle, so I went running to find it. |

I'm driving mine out there, don't expect any issues. There are tons of people that drive their Jeeps out west for some trail runs. |
Hmmm, sounds like fun.

I did the jamboree in Ouray and it was a blast. Wife and I decided we'd do at least one a year from now until we don't own a Jeep anymore, made a tradition out of it. |
I think once replace the transmission mount and get a good balance on the wheels I'll be alright...
I was looking closely at my endlinks and ball joints and they all appear to be greased and in good working order. I need to get the thing up in the air and check. Also...I hope the previous owner left the wheel lock in the jeep...just realized it has locks. :tomato: |

Lifted with a Rough Country Lift...new shocks/springs/sway endlinks and the stabilizer bar shock... I'm not sure what kit it is specifically but looks to be at least 3 or 4 inches. I have 285/70/17 or 33" Nitto something or others. |

Slow day at work today? |
Lord I love his fuckery...
There's no way it's only a 2 inch lift! It's a bitch to get into. I need to figure out the top situation...on one hand not getting the subwoofer stolen and a nice quiet top is good and insulates for the sun...on the other...it's florida and being able to drop it or raise it quickly would be great. or weatherize that bitch inside and put a bikini top on it and call it a day. |
If you're spending money on the inside of your jeep, you're doing it wrong -jeepbros
Ain't no one want to steal your 10W speakers -FloridaMan definitely going to steal your 10W speakers |
A pair of 10Ws is a gram of salt. That'll do.
#SaltLife |
LOL...naw ole boy put in some good shit...
kicker sub with mtx amp and polk speakers...fucking sound system goes as loud as my Banging Olof, son system in the Audi without distorting. Looks like there was an alpine alarm system on it at some point too. I might have to get ahold of previous owner for info on that or the wheel locks |
where do you keep all your vehicles?
with three family vehicles, it's hard enough to play tetris with them |
Love the color!!!
although, if i'm going for a Wrangler, it's gotta be the '14+ 3.6l pentastar for the fuel mileage |
Guest parking, man...
I have parking passes and we have a surplus of spots in our hood. I don't even have to move one to take another, luckily. I really wanted that 4 liter that was used for like 60 years. The V6 definitely does well on gas though...that rental we had netted like 23 mpg on that road trip in Cali. |

Actually the rental might have had a 3.8? It was a JL

That's just as bad as the dustbags that put the bitchin stereo on their Hardly Ableson... What's the point? You can't really enjoy it because of how loud your machine is when it's running, and when it's not running you're just subjecting all the poor innocents around you to your shitty choice in music. FFS. Take it all out, sell it, and buy yourself a nice LED bar to install on the hood. |
naw bro... it sounds fuckin good, seriously. I guess I could just get a soft top and not worry about it getting stolen and then sort of let it all work itself out when it does and then get the light bar. it came with those led headlights and my goodness are they bright... |
I do agree on simplifying though...removing the alarm and all the additional wiring.
When I put the new master cylinder in I actually decided to pull the ghetto rigged jumper they had used on the clutch safety switch. I'm also considering going back to a regular fan clutch fan for cooling... I have a dual fan setup right now with 2 relays... I need to clean up that wiring but I need to understand what and how it's wired first. |
Wonder why they bypassed the clutch safety switch, Jeeps have that built in where it disables the CSS if in the 4L mode.

It's about to go Blue TL on him. :precious: |
Massachusetts Heep.
Heep owned by a Masshole. A² + B² = You're Fucked |
I kid, I kid.
I act this way because I'm jealous. Obviously. Or something. |
I learned the hard way you can't start that bitch in gear either...
trust me, I needed the ability the night that master gave up. :tomato: Who knows, man...that'll happen with a 22 year old "play" vehicle that has changed hands a few times. The way I figured it, I preferred starting off with a bunch of shit I could take off and sell as I simplify it. I guess a clean totally unmodified one could have been cool but knowing me, I wouldn't have been able to stomach what it costs to make it look as cool as this one is. |
:pofl:
Hey, my Mother is from the Northeast! Massholes is right...the fuckin sox, amirite...this is their year. Lord, when we took a trip up to Bahhhh Harbahhhh it shocked me that everywhere we went that was what people were talking about casually. Gas stations, restaurants... We'll see, man...I did break 2 of my rules...I don't like cars from up North or Snow and I don't like cars that are already modified and need to be reverse engineered. I figured the car is simple enough and parts are cheap enough I couldn't get in too deep. And rust no really obvious at all...2 spots on the body were repaired prior to the new paint from what I can tell. Frame is solid and just coated in something...but doesn't appear to be coated to hide rust...all the pivot points and shock mounts seem good... that one lower stud for the slave, the oil pan and the underside bolt to the motor mounts seem to be the only ones that have some rust on them I'll have to learn to deal with. Oh and the transmission mount although the 4 that rust off on that you can snap off and remove anyway because they are a part of the mount itself. |
