Siggy, I think you made an important point... When I see RL, I think grandpa... I saw a stunning blue IS250 or IS350 and was surprised at the age of the driver (50's)... I really think the IS is very well suited (especially the 250) into getting the entry level Lexus buyer hooked on the brand.

The IS will be on my shopping list in a couple of years and the RL will probably not be...

WHO WOULD SERIOUSLY BUY LS? same shit man

people buy bigger and more luxurious cars for reasons..

The IS's gauges light up a lot nicer than I thought they would, based on the seeing pics of it when its not lit up.

the green lighting in the IS is brutal and clashes with the gauge cluster. reminds the driver that they are indeed driving a toyota (which isnt necessarily a bad thing)

That's what i was trying to get at. Acura missed the mark on the RL even the baby lexus has more luxury features than the RL making it more appealing. Especially in the style area; the RL is about as boring as it gets in looks. The last RL had more appeal.

While the RL might be slightly bigger that about all it has over the IS.

and the RL doesn't have green interior lights.

The audio controls on the RL are green also.... I only noticed that after the pic posted above.
