The rides - wife's new setup.
Mine 2006 Si - HFP Suspension, 20% tint, PS2s
Hers 2007 Tacoma - new Toytec 3 inch lift, 285/70/17 (33s) Goodyear Wrangler Silent Armor, Moto Metal 951
To be honest, I get jealous sometimes, but overall I think we have a great combination. Thoughts?

I'd much rather have your Si than her truck since I'm a driver in urban SoCal and have never needed a brush buster/4WD, even when camping. You'll be paying a lot less at the pump than her, too. I like the Taco's color more than the Si's, though...

You guys are crazy. You can't tell me that if you saw some chica driving that truck that you wouldn't be turned on. I think it's freakin' awesome...at least it's not some minivan!

I'm afraid of women who wear boots in big, lifted trucks, especially where the women are so little they can barely see over the windshields.
Oh, I'm a car guy, and the wife drives a minivan when she isn't driving the TL.

I like it... My brother has a 05 taco I4 4x4 (same color)... he got rid of his 03 V6 taco in 2005 to save on gas... he was ahead of the curve...
It's nice to have a truck in the family....

They are bigger, heavier and the truck is lifted. It will hurt it significantly. Not against it at all. It's different and done tastefully. It just sucks that the price of gas is so high. How many miles does she drive a week?

Most of you guys are lame. What are your wives driving anyway? Sounds lame to just have two cars in the house to me. Especially when you need something to pull a boat and jetskis, not to mention making it to the ski hill in the winter. My car for sure will NOT make it. I think the combo is great, and I love to drive both of them. How many of you guys can say that about your wives' rides? Thnaks for the other compliments, despite my small manhood.

personally, i don't have a problem with your cars. i think they both look great.
perhaps i was jumping to conclusion when i assumed the tacoma was yours.
however, i just don't agree with you when you say anyone would be turned on by a chick driving a truck. well, unless the chick was hot. however, we'll need a pic of your wife, then, to see if she's hot.
and we're just giving you a hard time because your wife is driving the big truck.

I think what i was trying to say it that an already hot chick would look even hotter driving a modded truck or car. Any female that is conscious of maintaining, modding, and caring for a car gets bonus points in my book. As mentioned before, yes, my wife is driving the truck because she doesn't drive far to work. I drive a ton and therefore have an Si.

sure sounds like it, next thing you know your gonna end up being a house husband that takes care of the kids, cooks and cleans while the wife is out there making all the dough
ohh yea and the truck looks nice, but its too good on gas to be a truck . once I'm done school i plan on getting a 3500 ram, lifted, tuned, 6 inch exhaust, on those 24inch semi style wheels(forgot the exact name of them).

Wife drives her Lexus RXH as I would not let her touch my TL whatsoever ....
in my limited experience, haven't really seen a hot chick riding a truck like that .... but that could be just me ....
Nice cars for your family though ...

Really not trying to add to the criticism... but just curious...what is your reasoning behind lifting that truck and putting on 33's? I'm assuming you aren't offroading with it, seems like its just throwing money away on the build and on gas.
But either way, I do like both of those vehicles

For me, light wheeling with buddies. One of my good friends has a 70s bronco and the other has a land rover discovery. There are also some beaches down south that I am near by for work sometimes where you can drive on the beach too. For her, she just loves the look - way more aggressive than stock. She also feels safer up higher. And, the lift is really freaking cheap. The toytec lift is just a spacer kit with a rear add-a-leaf. Installed the kit ran us $500. The 33 inch Silent Armors are what they say they are "silent" which she likes, and they are great in the snow.

Always liked those trucks, and it does look a lot better with the bigger wheels.

pickup trucks are the norm here in texas. and i've yet to see a hot chick driving one.
still, a hot chick is a hot chick regardless of what car she's driving.

But I gotta say, what were you thinking?! Gotta be at least a 6 inch lift with 35s or taller. c'mon now.
Nice truck though.... your Si has HFP suspension right?
I used to have this pretty good looking coworker.... lookswise she was probably a 7.5/10. But she rides a CBR1000RR, drives an F150, and she snowboards... and for some strange reason I really wanted to bang her. Another dude at my work wanted to bang her too and said the same reasons... not BECAUSE she rides, etc. but it definitely helps her case

I'd much rather see a hot chick driving a nice BMW/Audi/Saab convertible or Jeep Wrangler (not lifted/heavily modded) than a pickup truck. My fear is that upon seeing the rear of the truck, my eyes would come upon a rainbow sticker. I suppose that I prefer my ladies to have a classy ride or something that is just suggestive of adventure. A lifted pickup truck is too butch for me.
