I got a repair order for my civic beater because of the loud exhaust. It was issued on Feb. 14. I went on vacation and completely forgot about it. This is MD by the way. I know they suspend your registration if you don't get it repaired or written off within a certain time period (which I think is up). Can I still go to the trooper's office and have them issue me an extension? I remember the cop who gave me the repair order saying that I could get an extension as long as I go there.

 

1.if you have passed the date due on the ticket, you'll probably get laughed at.
2.if you arent, then go down there. But there might be a deadline from the issue date for which you can put in for an extension ie; You may have time left to fix it, but still not get an extension.
