but i doubt something as basic as premier can take it that far..

I call BS on the whole thing. I believe I see very very thin spokes on the wheels. I dont know of any material strong enough to support the weight of a car...

Definitely may be true about the spokes. You'd think if this was such a breakthrough that the guy with the camera would have zoomed in more on the rims to promote them.

Curious to see if they show up at SEMA...

hmm.. there is a point there. if you look closely in the beginning with the Z rolling, you get a glimpse of a reflection from the lips of the rim. you can tell there's little stripes spinning..

but still is it true something that thin can really hold up? i guess it could be little reinforcements for the plastic clear plate.. weird thing is, i wonder how much you have to torque those wheels on there. i would think the hub of the rim would crack if the nuts were torqued too hard

Hmm... seems like they are real to me... unless you went to SEMA like these guys and can dispute their replies...

bean, im not saying that they dont exist, but if they in fact did, and ppl on here saw this thread before they went down to sema, wouldnt you think that that would have taken some pictures of the rims.

If they are true, I couldnt stand them, just because you would see all the road and brake grime all over the "rim".

^ I agree, it is odd that people here saw them but didn't take pictures. But some other's have snapped some shots. I was laughing b/c there was even a picture of them on the FJ Cruiser forum .

But from what I have read they are not supposed to be used on the road for obvious reasons. Mainly supposed to be show use only...
