I like show cars and all and I am into the whole show scene but this is just stupid. Unfortunatly this is what it takes to win in some cases now though today.

Because they can???? Huge waste of money on a Jetta and one that has 48000 miles on it. My pet peeve is the show cars, like this one, that have all that audio, but no performance work at all. I wonder who did all that work...

much much respect on the craftsmanship, now that's a show car
throwing a bodykit made for your car on does not make it a show car

I wonder if it was just a show piece for a company's work. Not everyone that has these cars, do it because they're ricers, some do it as a way of advertising.

I have seen this car in person a bunch of times...it was actually built at 6th ave in union, on rt 22. The quality of the work is crazy, but really over the top. that is what the owner was going for as far as i know. supposedly one of the best fiberglass guys in the world (dont know how you judge this) worked on this car. the bill was over $100K. its NOT a shop car, and is owned by some rich dude with a bunch of other cool cars. i agree with CLpower--everyone nowadays is driving a "show car"
