I would have never thought of that to be the outcome.

That's a stupid test....done by a Toyota dealership nonetheless. I'm sure the Toyota Tundra is a good truck. But that just proves the guy in the dodge floored it while the Toyota slowly got on the gas.

Just want to show you guys a test done by an independent magazine column.

I think this is one flaw of the Tundra

He broke the tires that really shows shit. Unless they have a direct mechanical linkage between the wheels and road all that test shows is the Tundra got better grip.

GM FTW

They do the same thing with the F-150

I would argue they are purposely braking the tires on the competitors cars.

I'd still buy the Tundra over any truck on the market...

ya those were all 2 wheel drive trucks, that was so crooked. If it was my cash on the table 4x4 i'd get the Ford, 2WD the silverado cause of the automatic lockers its got. I think the Ford interior is superior to the chevy, exterior looks i'm indifferent.

I drive a new Tundra Crew Max 5.7 almost on a daily basis as a company vehicle. While I reckon it has incredible pulling power, there is absolutely no way it could pull the way it did.Bring a 4WD Cummins 3500 and we'll see who does what.

I don't think a cummins 3500 is quite a fair comparison. I think a 4x4 Ford/GM/Dodge to a 4x4 Tundra would be pretty near a dead heat. the 2wd silverado to the 2wd tundra, Silverado will win cause of the auto lockers in the rear diff that none of the other trucks have.

Have you seen the test footage that was posted, over the GM proving grounds test track, the ass end of the Tundra was twisting like crazy because they did not Box in the frame rails. The Ford actually looked quite civalized over those bumps if thats possible. Silverado was in the middle, I found it funny that it's gas door was flying around while that was not the case with the competition.
