Rack and Pinion

I just installed a rebuilt rack and pinion in my '87 Integra Special. Everything was lined up and it goes straight but after a few turns the steering wheel is way out of alignment. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim

Did you tighten the outer tie-rod nuts?

The company sent me a replacement and I compared them. Turns out that they forgot to put the metal bushings in the mount holes. Since the mounts are rubber the whole rack was loose and shifting back and forth slightly. The new one works fine.

Thanks, Jim
