Quite possibly the sickest R8 i've seen yet

I love that car. The guy that works with me out of our Singapore office ordered one a few months back with every option that he could get (carbon fiber engine covers, LED engine bay, etc) in red. Total cost = SGD $500,000 inclusive of taxes = USD $367,000! Amazing!

i dont like it. Too played out and too ugly. Sorry but its true IMHO.
The R8 works well with lighter colors that highlight its curves a better. Light body color like a liquid silver or ibis white with a constrasting carbon fiber side blade work best on this car.
In fact, I'd go so far as to say that that's the ugliest R8 I've seen in a while - and it takes a lot to make that car look ugly.

I have to agree to everything but the last sentence. It's definitely not ugly, but it's very played out, and quite boring. So it's an R8 with tinted windows and black wheels. That makes it the hottest one around? Interesting. Either way, I'd rock it, so I'm not knockin' it. Just saying, I would go a different route.

I saw my first R8 in person a few months ago. It was on the street in Toronto. Color was black and IMHO, it did not suit it well. The R8 needs a bolder color to highlight its sexy lines.

I used to not like the R8 but I love them now. I saw my first one on the road a few days ago on Rockville Pike with the daytime LEDs. What an engine.
