Question Quick ? on Honda AC

If it's more efficient for an AC to run in Rec, then why is it when you set it to Auto, it rather use pull in warm outside air?

I would assume Auto knows best in terms of being efficient, correct?

I usually make sure to switch on the flux capacitor w/ auto...it's more efficient this way.

This is true, except for circumstances in which it is contraindicated. In that case you should fabulate an apparitional counter instruction.

If I remember correctly from my TL, it would close the outside vents when it needed to quickly warm or cool the car, but then would open up after reaching the desired temp. Once you're there, maintaining the temp is probably pretty easy. Your compressor is going to run regardless.

Or maybe your interior smells and the car is just trying to air it out?

Auto would know know best unless it was set to manual. In that case the Manual would have to automatically adjust to the manual rate of the inducted airflow. If you multiply the inducted airflow introduced (minus carbon emissions) then the salivary glands would have a chance to perpetuate the re-circulation of the airflow.

So in short, Maybe, maybe not.

sucking air from the outside will defog the window. that's why the auto default setting does that, instead of recycling the air.

The inferred method implied in the initial inquiry would allow excess humidity in the specified locale.

You guys are killing me smalls!

To answer your question, OP, the AUTO function on the A/C usually knows best. It will automatically to into recirculate mode if the set temperature varies from the outside temperature by more than 20 degrees. For example, if you set the temperature at 70 degrees, and it's 94 out, it will go into recirculate mode.

In terms of being efficient? Depends on what temperature you set it at. The auto function only regulates the temperature inside the car.

The purpose for as much systematic conditional influence of said recirculation operation identifies with the assembly. If user specified intent upon guarantee low activation set settings automatic upon departure entry. Reprogram set settings upon arrival previous to changing state location as upon to deter altered environment.
