Protecting cloth interior

been a while since ive owned a car with a cloth interior. im thinking about going to pick up some scotchguard and hitting the seats with it. ive got a 2 year old so you know how that goes.

anyone have any other suggestions for protection? i know how to clean but im looking for preventative measures.

just found a protectant called 303 fabric guard. not only is it stain resistant it is a uv protestant as well. may pursue this..

sounds reasonable to me. still would like to hear if anyone has anything else to say though..
Scotchguard is about the best you can do. But to be honest....you're going to get stains. 2 year olds are made for making messes. And it doesn't get a while lot better when they turn 3 or 4 or 5.

And make sure you get the back of the front seats. Muddy shoes always end up on those.

nice! i know they make messes just want to do what i can to ease the cleanup process.

read into the 303 and it seems it leaves the fabric stiff and takes flex out of it. scotchguard it is..

I also have a pad that goes under the car seat in my car. It works well for spills.
