Auto b/c it can launch that much power easier than a 6spd, gear ratios are a bit taller, and it was the cheapest Z in the condition I wanted it in I could find. The 6spd has it's own problems as well.
Thanks to everyone for the kinds words

thanks guys
dunno when ill be going to diego, gonna be really busy the rest of the year. there are quite a few Zs with turbos on the street, but not as many with internal work.

A TT 350 with upgraded internals, finally someone does something right. Good job, and i for one know that an auto is best for launching a high powered car. Get a higher stall converter and you will be a terror in the high way. The converter will flash and always keep you in the powerband.

Manual has greater advantage almost everytime due to lack of tq converter.
That's why you'll see manuals beat autos by half a second or so in the 1/4, given a competent driver.
The only exception I can think of is extremely high powered motors (500+ hp), where putting power down to the ground would be the largest hindrance, and the power loss due to the transmission would be negligible.
Not to knock the OP's ride though.
It's sweet, but would be sweeter if it had the 6 speed.

Any takers????
