My friends ITR hasn't been maintained for a while and now there are issues with his cylinders misfiring. I believe it's the injectors (since we swapped all the spark plugs). Does anyone know the ratings of the injectors on the Integra Type R, and are all fuel injectors of GSR and ITR compatible? And if so would it hurt to use larger injectors?

Prepare for a majority of responses to be directed at your friend for not maintaining a collector's item like the ITR.

OK, maybe not that...

 

I would not use larger than stock oem injectors if he is not running any type of F/I.

Also I would stick with Type-R injectors, or the same rating.

 

Why would he not take care of that car??

 

It's a sexy car with some work done to it too. The past year he's gotten a few hit and runs and too many tickets he wants to get rid of his car. All I can say is that his car is fun to drive. One of the last 2001 ITR's too.
