Probability of selling a 2002 Camry

What is the chance that a private party buys a 2002 Camry? I mean, based on the blue book value, the resell price of the car is roughtly $12k. It is sort of expensive for a used car. Should I even bother post ads around and hope someone will be intersted in the car, or I whould just bring the car to a dealer and sell the car to them? Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks.

The car is in perfect condition. The owner is selling the car because leaving the country.

A perfect condition 2002 Camry is a VERY sought after car. You'd be VERY foolish to sell it to a dealer.

Theres a growing used auto car company in NJ called AutoLenders.com. They pick up perfect cars off lease at auction and sell at a set base price, no hassle. Was in there a few months ago and a 2001 Camry LE w/ 25k miles in perfect condition from them was going for 12.5k.

So depending on your miles, color, engine size, the car should move at above 12k.

You can even look up other Camrys they have now at that same address for an idea.

Thank you for your reply, even though I was hoping there will be more inputs. I assume most people agreed that I should try to find a private party who is interested in purchasing the car.

Sure, I know selling a car to dealer is the worst resolution, but if I cannot find a buyer, then bring it the a dealer would be the only choice.

Go to kbb.com, look up the private party value and put an ad in the local paper or autotrader.com for a short time, should see some calls for an excellent condition camry.
