Looks good Lou, I like the blue tint too, if you get a light enough tint like the 35%, you may still see the blue mixed in with the black. I have 35% and the acuras come with a slight green tint, so when the sun hits it right, you can see the green under the black, looks cool.

Yeah, like that's a typical CLK.

FWIW, I do like the front end of the new CLK, but the rear end looks like shit.... too narrow and the tails suck. And from the side, it just looks weird without a normal B pillar there.

One thing I forgot to mention-- take a good look at the headlights..... the projectors make the headlights look cross-eyed

My neighbor has a new CLK500, and every time I see it, I think it looks cross-eyed for sure.....

I agree that the new ones don't look that nice. Benz went and made all their cars look the same. Stupid in my opinion. I mean who wants to spend 300k for the new SLR and have a 40k SLK that looks just like it.

You should look at getting a silvery tinit for your car lou. That would look hot if the tint is just the right silver.

UUUHHMMMM. CLK, M3 or C6. Eat your hearts out folks. For 50-60 range these are the best IMO.
BTW that clk looks nice but i like the new one better.

about 95% of clk owners prefer the old W208 instead of the new w209

the W209 is a great looking car but it was designed with more feminine lines...believe it or not they market it for the woman cause MB wants the men to buy CL, SL, E, S since they all have the same 5.0 engine.

its a marketing technique but the old CLK was designed with the E class in mind except for the different AMG bodykit

by the way the new CLK w209 has the same chassis as the current C class :o

I could of bought a 2003 clk500 with 3k miles on it for $9K more than my 02' with 8K miles

exactly like the pic and after test driving both I preferred the 02' better..exact same features and options but it didnt make sense to me..the performance is about the same and the ride in the new is less sporty like I said it marketed toward the woman.

not only that but my 02' came with the same wheels and better tires than the 03'
