@ altima coupe, the rear is hideous.

The passat is a nice car though.

Yea, but the whole first part of the OP was about the TT. Are you retarded or something?

since when is the G37's interior "cheap"? Get a clue dude

Like someone said before me, it may not be the best in its class - but it certainly is not cheap either.

That being said, have you considered a honda S2k? rwd coupe with great gas mileage, leather, etc. I dont know if it comes with a navi, but it might be worth it to give it a look if you're looking for a sporty 2dr coupe.

Otherwise, I think the new TT is a great looking car. The redesign really gave it a new edge.

I'm biased toward the G37 myself (and btw, I averaged 24 mpg on my last tank of gas...)

I like the G, don't understand why you all dislike the interior so much. The only thing I don't like are the gauges.

i think you get a new 328 coupe for that price pretty easily.
that would be an extremely fun car
big back seat
big trunk
good gas mileage

i drove a 328xi and even with the weight of the all wheel drive it was spunky

get a s2k and add in a double din with all the components you want in there... with these gas prices a 4 banger is the way to go...

Dude. The G37 isnt very...fast. It holds its own, but I thought you wanted something faster than the TSX. Whats people's definition of sporty? It only has two doors?

Get something turbo you can chip and then return to the dealer when youre done.

What, pray tell, is your definition of fast?

200 hp/165 tq~ @ 3400 lbs. to the front wheels for the MT vs 330 hp/270 tq. @3616 lbs. to the rear wheels for the AT.

Have you ever driven the g37? compared with a tsx? It doesnt sound like it.

I'm sure the G's ride is tuned for a more luxurious feel, but that doesnt make it "slow" either.

If you want balls to the wall fast with a sporty tune, then just wait for a 370Z.

.
First off, I just said it wasnt "fast." My Yaris is "slow".

The bolded portion is my problem.

Im just trying to figure out what the OP wants. From his post it seemed the only issue he had with the audi was the power. Chip = problem solved. However the list of dislikes for the G37 was kinda long, nothing you can fix with mods.

I just dont see the sense in recommending a car that the OP is having a hard time liking.

Mini Cooper S. Perfect for city driving/parking. Priced well, speedy and decent gas mileage.

Understood. I just feel differently about the car is all then

Ive driven a g37s auto several times, and that thing pulls pretty nicely I imagine the 6sp will be more fun to drive. To each their own then.

I sold my 05 TSX just over a year ago and picked up an 05 G Coupe. I do miss the TSX from time to time, but man oh man is the G a fun car to drive...especially since I came from an auto to manual.

I am still warming up to the new G37 look...right now, the G35 looks much better.

Personally, I'd get the BMW 335ci

I have to disagree. The drive is what steered me away (couldnt help myself!) from buying the g37. I drove it 5 different times and 2 different dealerships just to make sure. I was willing to compromise on it being heavier, less efficient and a useless trunk > back seat but although it felt much more solid than the old one it had no oomph in it when i mashed the throttle. Not compared to the compitetion at least. It was an epic dissapointment for me.

btw, i like the mini coop idea....there are a lot of cool little cars out right now that are a hoot to drive!
check out the 128/135 as well then!!

The new Mini cooper S is extremely fun to drive (Manual Trans). I've only driven it for one time but it sure was a blast. Also, the new ones are a bit more peppier than the previous generation.

i was driving my TSX home and there were like 3 huge semis to the left, behind me, and in front of the other semi. gosh, i felt paranoid and odd. i felt the TSX was small. what more though with a smart car or mini cooper?

Doesn't the new TT have rear seats?

If so I'd go Mini cooper s>TT>G37 (new styling and wack spoiler don't do it for me).
I think OP said he needed rear seats so no s2k.

It looks like it does on the website.

The thing that is getting me is that you can't get a stick in the 4 cylinder engine, wtf is that about?
