Possibly tradin' the CL

Yo guys, i'm thinking about trading my stock CL for a 94 accord wagon with a new paintjob and (gay) color matched rims which I would sell.

I have tons of parts from my cl that i would take off and parts i havent even put on that could go on this accord.

Do you think it would be worth it? I'm planning on getting the wagon to put an h22 in anyways, so mileage doesn't really matter aside from a selling standpoint.

his car - 144k

mine - 132k

http://boston.craigslist.org/gbs/cto/1087393900.html

the seller isn't the brightest in the world as I can tell by his typing in both his sale posting and his emails.

Obviously, i'm going to look at the car before I make a decision.

It has a fresh paint job and I could make money off of the rims and tires that are on it.

Eh, why not. Accord wagons are somewhat rare, and if you plan on swapping in an H22, who cares if the engine is weak.

Plus, fresh paint!

Nic is selling his car and taking off to Korea... Now you want to sell your car and "buy another?" Are you sure this isn't a disguised way to move to Korea and be happily ever after with Mr Bennett?

On a more serious note: just do it, I'm not stopping you

WTF are you going "down the ladder" for?
I got a 94 Accord sedan as my "work car/beater car" meaning if i'm at work and some asshole smashes into i really don't give a crap.
Verdict: UM NO.

I know its fresh paint, but do you really like that color? I think I would get tired of it everday. I assume you drive a 1st gen CL, why not put an H22 in that instead? Do you need a wagon or just like wagons?

Idk i like wagons all of a sudden. I think its fun and unexpected when you see them with power.

The only thing i'd be pissed about in the trade would be losing the tint i just paid 155 for... if the bastard would have given me 1k on top of the trade i'd be okay with it I think. But he's broke and can't even afford that, which is why he's trying to sell his car.
